To elementary and junior high school educators, students as well as parents, Integrated Activity is a new learning field. The author first cites, from the nine-year curriculum outline published by the Ministry of Education, the basic concepts, the curriculum objectives, the themes and the contents of the Integrated Activity field. Then, she continues to examine textbook-related practical issues such as: Does this field need textbooks? What are some criteria educators could consider when evaluating textbooks for this field? What are some principles educators could consider when developing textbooks for this field? What is the crisis faced by textbooks of this field? This paper aims to stimulate its readers to think more deeply about the textbook of the Integrated Activity field.
