In this decade, more and more papers in international conferences and some journals have been presented to approve the benefit for youth who devotes energy to strength training. This paper reviewed the studies focused on the range, restrictions, and the positive health improving benefits of youth strength training. It is suggested that followed by qualified instructors, sound supervision, appropriate training equipment and implementation, and low instructor/youth athlete rate (1:10) can improve their health, fitness and sport performance for the children and youth athletes as well as the youngsters with overweight.
