提升住院藥品退藥效率之研究

摘要

處理住院退藥是醫院藥師每日必然的工作，但它需要花費藥師相當多時間來處理，因此如何提高藥師退藥的效率，這是我們努力的目標，為了減少醫院藥師退藥的工作量，我們擬定了一些改善計畫，藉由藥師填寫護理站退藥異常紀錄表與提供透明塑膠袋裝個別病人過多的退藥著手，而期望新的方式可以大幅提高工作效率。經過改善後，總共縮減退藥時間平均每天40分鐘，整體而言退藥時間平均減少36.4%，退藥正確性也有所提升，連帶藥師滿意度也大大提高。經由改善後不僅退藥效率提升，且藥師得以節省下更多時間來重新分配運用至照護病人，進而提升病人用藥安全與醫療照護品質。

Returning medications is a necessary work, but it consumes significant amounts of time and resources. This study aims to improve the efficiency of returning medications to pharmacies in the hospital setting. In order to decrease the workload of pharmacists involved in the medication returning process, we made some action plans and expect that the new process can improve work efficiency. After implementation of the correction strategies, the total time to process the returned medications can be reduced by 40 minutes/day. Overall, the time needed for the process was reduced by 36.4%, the accuracy of records on returning medications was improved, and the pharmacist working satisfaction was increased. The efficiency of managing returned medication improved after this study, and the time redistributed to clinical pharmacy services increased, thus enhancing the medication safety and quality of the patient care process.
