台灣為因應老年化社會過程,照顧服務員的需求大量增加,以提供個案在醫院、長期照護機構及居家的日常生活照護;然而有關照顧服務員的相關研究卻顯不足,根據相關文獻指出照顧服務員的工作滿意狀況會影響其工作穩定性及照護品質。本研究旨在探討照顧服務員的工作現況、工作滿意度及影響工作滿意度之因素,以提供業界及相關部門於擬定照顧服務員相關議題時的參考。採立意取樣,以結構性問卷收集高屏地區照顧服務員人口學及工作滿意度資料,有效問卷共202份,統計方法包括:描述性統計、獨立樣本t檢定、單因子變異數分析。研究結果顯示照顧服務員以中年已婚女性、國、高中(職)畢業,平均工作年資4.1年,工作地點以安養護機構及醫院為主,70.8%的照顧服務員工作薪資每月低於新台幣25,000元。整體工作滿意度為68%,分項滿意度依序為與住民(病患)關係75%、與同事關係72%、工作狀況70%、上司管理型態66%,而滿意度最低為薪資57%。教育程度為國中、工作年資5.1-7年及在安養護機構工作的照顧服務員者,工作滿意度較高。藉此研究發現,改善照顧服務員的工作環境、薪資結構有助於提昇工作滿意度,增強其留任意願,進而提昇住民的照護品質。
In Taiwan, the numbers of nurse aide have increased rapidly to support the aging society and to provide care to clients in hospitals, long-term care facilities and at home. The job satisfaction of nurse aids influences quality of care provided and their career stability. This research aims to examine the working situation and job satisfaction of nurse aides. Results from this study will provide information to the health department on the regulations governing. A questionnaire administered in the areas of Kao-hsiung and Ping-Tung. Demographic data and job satisfaction questionnaire were obtained with the 202 effective questionnaires. Results indicated that the majority of nurse aides were middle-aged married female who held high school certificate. The average working experience was 4.1 years and most of them were working in hospitals or long-term care institutes. 70.8% of nurse aides' salary was under $ NT 25000. Participants were satisfied in domains of relationship with clients (75%), relationship with colleague (72%), and working situation (70%). They were less satisfaction in the areas of the leader's management style (66%) and pay (57%). 68% participants expressed an overall satisfaction with their job. It is important to recognize the level of job satisfaction and the factors relating to job satisfaction for nurse aides, in order to improve their working environment、salary and to increase their job satisfaction、retention rates、and quality of care to clients.
