The aim of this study is to discuss the long-term care legislation system in Germany. First of all, we introduce the origin contents and enforcement of ”Long-term Care Insurance” (LTCI) which possesses a major portion of Germany social insurance system. Then, the long-term care assistance (part of social assistance system) that is to be the supplement for the LTCI is analyzed. Furthermore, we illustrate the regulations related to the facilities and manpower of long-term care in order to provide useful information for the managers in administration and industry in Taiwan. For conclusion, we make analysis and recommendations on the topics of economic security and legislative drafting to construct an overall model of social security legislation system.
