Health care evidence generation has been increased day by day. Implementing the evidence-based practice to promote the global health of clients, evidence synthesis, transfer, and utilization thus becomes an important issue. The systematic review process is a fundamental component of evidence-based practice. The steps of conducting systematic review are as follows: formulating a problem, identifying inclusion and exclusion criteria, searching evidence, study selection, critical appraisal of evidence, data extraction, data analysis and synthesis, presenting results, and interpreting results/implications. Given the wide spread activity associated with the evidence-based health care movement, long-term care professionals should try to start this journey. Quality of care can be promoted by utilizing evidence for solving health problems of clients.
