Removal of flower buds and terminal bud were conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of these treatments on tuber growth and propagation of sandersonia. There was no significant difference of the length and the width of leaf between removal of flower buds and control treatment. Harvested tubers which were over 3g while in treatment of removal of flower buds is 30.0%, that is high than control treatment. Therefore, removal of flower buds would increase tuber's weight. As regards removal of different pinch, the results showed that the average weight of tuber was 5.2g in the treatment of 10th internodes, while control group were 2.9g which were the lowest. It showed that, the removal of terminal buds could increase tuber weight. The experimental results of this study could be taken as reference for improving sandersonia industry in Taiwan.
