The Rationale of Antidotes for Acrylonitrile Intoxication

摘要

西元2003年四月台中梧棲的公路上發生化學槽車意外事故，大量丙烯腈外洩及造成人員中毒，暴露出氰化物解毒劑儲備上的窘境，也為急診醫療投入一顆震撼彈。事實上，文獻上針對丙烯腈中毒的解毒治療亦尚未有一致的看法，台灣未來類似事件可能再發生，這裡我們回顧文獻，針對丙烯腈的毒性及可能適當的解毒治療提出緊急治療方針，以便未來發生丙烯腈化災時有所參考或遵循。

In April 2003, a chemical tracker happened to crush in Wu-Chi Taichung County. This traffic accident lead to leakage of large amount of acrylonitrile, and large scale of human exposure. This event revealed the shortage of antidotes storage and the unfamiliarity of emergency response. In fact, it is still unsettled how to treat acrylonitrile poisoning. The effects of potential antidotes were still in debate. Here, we reviewed the literatures and tried to propose the principles of management for the future occurring of mass acrylonitrile exposure.
