本研究以台灣地區九族的原住民爲對象,探究原住民的人口特徵、健康相關行爲與健康情形之間的關係。研究以問卷與體檢測試進行資料蒐集,共取得有效樣本986件。人口特徵包含族別、性別、年齡、教育程度、婚姻狀況及職業;健康相關行爲包含睡眠、運動、飲食、抽煙、吃檳榔、喝酒;健康情形則包含自覺有無疾病、自覺健康狀況及健康檢驗(BMI、GOT濃度、血糖濃度、膽固醇濃度、三酸甘油脂濃度、血清尿酸濃度)等項。 本研究之統計資料顯示,樣本中不同人口特徵與採行不同健康相關行爲的族群,在實際身體健康的情形上確實有明顯的差異存在。根據所獲得之結果,本文針對相關單位的組織策略層面與原住民的個人生活層面,提出改善原住民身體健康情形之參考建議。
This study surveyed the demographic characteristics, health-related behavior and health conditions of Taiwanese aboriginals. Data for 986 subjects was collected by questionnaire and physical examination. Analyzed demographic characteristics included tribe, gender, age, occupation, education and marital status. Health-related behavior investigated including habits in sleeping, exercising, drinking, smoking, and betel nuts chewing behavior. Subjects were also examined for self perception of health conditions and BMI. All subjects underwent biochemical tests of GOT concentrations, blood glucose, total cholesterol, triglycerides and serum uric acid. The statistical results revealed that subjects differed in demographic characteristics, health-related behavior and health conditions. Based on the current findings, several suggestions for improving the health conditions of Taiwan aboriginals are given.
