東方想像/意象－陽光劇團《印度共和國或他們夢想的印度》

摘要

法國陽光劇團(Théâtre du Soleil)導演穆努虛金(Ariane Mnouchkine)認為「戲劇是東方的」，堅持從東方傳統戲劇，特別是亞洲傳統戲劇，尋找靈感素材。然而，對於穆努虛金而言，「東方」代表地理、歷史、文化的想像場域與想像國度。本文以《印度共和國或他們夢想的印度》為研例，解析劇本文本與結構，闡釋人物特質及對白之意旨隱喻，釐清《印度》之東方意涵；進而闡釋陽光劇團在「東方戲劇形式」，或「想像的戲劇形式」之外，實能超越東方/西方之主體/客體之二元對立，成為人類/人性共通共同的世代挑戰，顯現陽光劇團獨特創新性及時代性！

The director Ariane Mnouchkine of the Théâtre du Soleil holds the idea that ＂theater is Oriental＂. This paper takes ''Indiad, or the India of Their Dreams ＂ as the research case to explain that The Theater of the Sun is actually capable of meaning outside the ＂Oriental dramatic form＂ or ＂imaginary dramatic form＂ outside reality, which is beyond the Eastern/Western binary opposition of the subject/object and finally becomes a univeral generation challenge of human/humanity to display the unique innovation and times of The Theater of the Sun!
