護理人員幽默與健康狀況之研究

A Study of Humor and Health for Nurses

摘要


幽默能促進人類的身心健康,當壓力發生時,亦能發展成為一種良好的因應策略;本研究旨在了解護理人員幽默及健康的關係。 本研究採橫斷式設計,以問卷調查法進行研究,並以方便取樣原則,選取230名臨床護理人員為研究對象,進行結構式量表填答。研究工具包括幽默量表,可分為幽默因應、幽默態度、幽默創造、笑的傾向及幽默感五個次量表;而護理人員健康狀況的測量工具則為生活壓力、睡眠品質、健康感受及身心症狀四個量表。以描述性和相關性統計進行分析。 結果發現樣本皆為女性,年齡介於21-62歲,平均年齡為30.77±7.82歲。護理人員總體幽默感之平均為2.83±26分(總分4分),其中得分最高為幽默態度,另以年齡變項影響護理人員的幽默因應及幽默創造最為顯著。研究對象的工作壓力感受最高。護理人員的生活壓力與整體幽默、笑的傾向及幽默感呈統計上之顯著負相關。本研究建議需重視培養護理人員的幽默感,且研究結果將可作為未來護理教育暨行政管理之訓練計畫及臨床實務的參考。

Humor can be good coping strategy in stressful situations, and can also improve a person's health. The purpose of this study was to understand humor and its relation to nurses' health. A Cross-sectional questionnaire survey was conducted to collect data from 230 nurses. Multidimensional Sense of Humor Scales (MDSHS) and Health-related Scales were -used as research instruments. The MDSHS included five dimensions: coping with humor, attitude toward humor, humor production, tendency towards laughter, and feelings of humor. Health-related scales included Stress Perceptional Scale (SPS), Sleep Quality, Health Recognition (HR), and Self-Rating Health Status (SRHS). Data analyses were applied to descriptive and correlative statistics. All subjects were women. They ranged in age from 21 to 62 years, with a mean age of 30.77±7.82. The MDSHS mean was 2.83±0.26 (total score 4). The factor ”age” showed a significant relation with ”coping with humor” and ”humor production”. Work was the highest stress factor in the SPS. SPS showed a significant negative correlation to MDSHS items, ”Tendency towards laughter,” and ”Feelings of humor.” Research suggests the creation of a humor competency for nurses. The results of this research can serve as a reference for nursing educators and administrators in planning the training programs and the application of clinical practice.
