This study established a set of meta-evaluation standards of physical education in order to estimate the values and merits for evaluation, and to provide feasible criteria for formulation and implementation. The Delphi technique was used to investigate 17 experts in the areas of evaluation, sports professionals, school sports, social sports, and sports administration for collecting the data. After three rounds of questionnaire survey, it was concluded that first, this study was able to construct a set of 60 meta-evaluation standards of physical education with five dimensions including evaluation formulation, evaluation design, evaluation implementation, evaluation results, and the application and assessment of the results. Second, the Delphi technique was an appropriate research tool for opinion communication and integration. It was recommended that more follow-up studies should be executed for the applying the standards to the evaluation of physical education.
