不同型態的登山健行者對於天氣狀況忍受程度之差異研究

The Acceptable Level of the Weather Condition for Different Types of Hikers

極端天氣事件以及氣候變遷會影響戶外活動的參與意願。故本研究針對登山健行者對於天氣狀況所能容忍之極限程度進行調查。主要研究目的分成三項:一、瞭解台北地區登山健行參與者特性,二、瞭解目前登山健行者對於天氣狀況忍受的程度,三、比較不同類型登山健行者對天氣狀況忍受程度之差異。本研究選取360名台北市登山健行者,分別在都市型、中間型、資源型步道進行分層抽樣,以自編問卷進行調查。結果發現,當氣溫高於37.5℃與氣溫低於3.07℃、降雨大於普通雨、遇到強風、紫外線程度為過量時,則有60%以上的受訪者會放棄登山健行活動;有44.18%受訪者表示相對濕度並無影響。由此得知,受訪者對於可忍受的天氣狀況皆於氣象於災變特報的標準以下。進一步依據受訪者使用不同步道類型的頻率、持續時間以及年資,將受訪者分為近郊登山健行者與高山登山健行者兩個集群。高山登山健行者對於最高溫度、最低溫度、降雨量、風速、與相對濕度上的忍受度上顯著高於近郊登山健行者。故研究建議,未來研究可朝向研究登山健行之最適合氣候狀況與登山健行者對氣候變遷之因應行為。

Parallel abstracts


The extreme weather and climate change have an impact on the participation of outdoor recreational activities. Therefore, this study examined the characteristics of hikers in Taipei, the weather condition which the hiker would give up their hiking, and the acceptable level of weather condition for hikers. This study employed a survey to measure the acceptable level of weather condition and hiking experience. 360 participants were selected from hikers on urban tails, suburban trails, and the mountaineering associations in Taipei. The frequency of hiking, the length of hiking time, and the hiking experience divided the hikers into two groups. The first group was the hikers who frequently used the suburban area trail (Urban group). The second group was the hikers who had experience on mountain trails (Mountain group). The results showed that the hikers gave up hiking when the temperature was higher than 37.5℃ or lower than 3.07℃. The precipitation was larger than 10mm per hour. The wind speed was higher than 17-27 per hour. The degree of ultraviolet index (UVI) was defined as the over level. However, 40% of hikers showed that they would not give up hiking because of humidity. The mountain group and the urban group were significantly different on the acceptable levels of the weather conditions. This study suggested that further studies should examine the hikers' coping behavior in climate change.
