The Effects of Sporting Autonomy and the Competitive Level on Sporting Motivation among College Female Volleyball Players

摘要

本研究的目的是：一、比較不同運動自主性的女子排球選手在運動動機上的差異情形。二、比較不同競爭水準的女子排球選手在運動動機上的差異情形。三、分析運動自主性與競爭水準對運動動機的交互作用效果。本研究以參加大專院校排球聯賽的女子選手為受試者，人數總計有205位。所使用的工具有運動自主性量表及運動動機量表。蒐集的資料以獨立樣本二因子變異數分析進行資料分析。本研究結果發現：運動自主性和競爭水準在內在動機、外在調節與無動機上有交互作用存在，且運動自主性的主要效果達到顯著，但競爭水準的主要效果並不顯著。本研究除了對所得結果提出解釋外，並對研究結果的應用加以分析討論。同時，也對未來的研究提出一些建議。

This study compared the sports motivations between high autonomy and low autonomy and the sports motivation among various competitive levels of college female volleyball players. It also analyzed the effects of sports autonomy and the competitive level on sports motivation. 205 female players drawn from College Volleyball League Game in 2005 were the subjects. The instruments administered to the subjects were the sports autonomy inventory and the sports motivation inventory. The collected data were analyzed by two-way ANOVA. The main findings of this study were that sports autonomy and competitive sports level interactively affect the intrinsic motivation, the external regulation, and amotivation. The main effect of sport autonomy was significant; however, the main effect of the competitive level was not significant. Explanations of the findings were offered and applications of the study were discussed. Finally, some suggestions for future studies were identified and discussed.
