本文介紹聽覺障礙教育的起源、發展;並探討我國聽覺障礙教育的演進及臺灣地區聽覺障礙教育沿革與實施情形。最後評析聽覺障礙語文教學法的論爭,乃至提出改進我國啟聰學校、啟聰班教學的做法做為總結。
In this paper, a brief history and development for education deaf children in the USA and in the Europe was reviewed first: then, the history of educating children with hearing impairments in both Mainland China and Taiwan was described in detail. The related issues concerning teaching strategies were also discussed. Finally, suggestions were made for teachers of students with hearing impairments at special classes or deaf schools for their reference.
