本研究主要是探討芝蔴粕中之芝蔴木酚素成分於活體內對肝臓之氧化酵素與氧化狀態之影響,同時也測試其對血清與肝臓中脂質之變化。結果顯示,以飼料重0.012%與0.024%之芝蔴木酚素餵食雄性敘利亞金倉鼠(Syrian golden hamster),五週後可以顯著降低體內血清低密度脂蛋白膽固醇(low density lipoprotein cholesterol, LDL)、延緩誘發LDL氧化之遲滯時間,同時於肝臓中降低TBARS (thiobarbituric acid reactive substances) 産生與提高SOD (superoxide dismutase) 酵素活性。
The effects of sesame lignans (SL) from sesame cake on serum lipids and serum LDL oxidation were examined. The results showed that the SL-fed hamsters had significantly increased superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity and decreased 2-thiobarbitunc acid reactive substances (TBARS) values in liver. Hamsters fed the SLE diet had a longer lag phase of conjugated diene production and a decreased concentration of low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) in serum.
