本研究旨在應用競值架構的觀點發展可資衡量國民小學校長領導行為之研究工具,並據此進行實徵研究。研究採用調查研究法,問卷回收後以項目分析、信度分析、試探性因素分析、二階驗證性因素分析、變異數分析及階層線性模式等統計方式分析資料。研究結論如下:一、校長競值領導行為量表的信度及效度良好。二、國民小學校長競值領導行為的表現尚稱良好,「注重結果」及「經營過程」層面的表現較佳。三、教師的性別、年齡、擔任職務與年資,校長的最高學歷以及學校所在地區在校長領導行為上具有顯著差異,然而其效應量尚屬低度。四、不同學校間的校長領導行為具有差異,然校長領導行為之變異主要更取決於教師層次。最後,針對後續研究與實務提出建議。
The purpose of the study was to develop the instrument by utilizing Competing Values Framework and measure elementary school principal's leadership behavior. The collected data were analyzed by using the statistical methods of item analysis, reliability analysis, exploratory factor analysis, second-order confirmatory factor analysis, ANOVA, and hierarchical linear models. The conclusions of this study are: (1) The reliability and validity of the scale is good. (2) ”Producing Results” and ”Managing Processes” are the dominant leadership quadrants that are emphasized by the elementary school principal. (3) In the respect of the relationship between surrounding variables and principal's leadership behavior: there is significant difference in the sex, age, present duty and seniority of teachers, the academic degree of principals, and the location of schools; however the effect sizes of above variables are rated small. (4) A considerably higher percentage of variance of leadership behavior is accounted for by difference between teachers.
