The volunteer service law of Taiwan, R.O.C. passed in 2001. The pass of this law provides the lawful basis for student parents to participate in school affairs. It also effectively encourages them to join the volunteer teams in schools. The researcher plans to use the volunteer organization of the school he works in as the study case, by referring to related researches, and interviewing the school volunteers and the administrative staff in charge of the organization affairs. The study aims to explore the motivation of the student parents to participate as volunteers, and the factors of the changing of the volunteers' serving will. It also focuses on the present situation of development and the encountered difficulties of the volunteer organization, with the consideration of the support and involvement of the administrative units. At the final stage, the researcher plans to offer some considerations of the participation of student parents in school affairs, as well as to promote the volunteer service in other related situations; volunteers are expected to have new perspectives of their voluntary service, as they meet the objects with diversity and complication in different cases.
