The Challenge of 360-Degree Leaders: Directors' All-Range Leadership in Primary Schools

摘要


面對世界潮流與巨大的國際競爭壓力,為有效控管教育品質與學校辦學績效,提升學校效能,必須積極推動各種革新作為。本文以John C. Maxwell所提出的「360度全方位領導」概念,先就組織領導與管理的相關理論與議題提出討論,進而闡述360度全方位領導的意涵,探討360度領導者的挑戰、領導法則、價值性等內容,最後,再針對學校領導上,國民小學主任成為360度領導者的可行策略提出討論。

Facing global trends and the crushing pressures of international competition, educators must actively integrate and promote different varieties of revolutionary ideas to effectively and efficiently maintain and even improve the level of educational standards, and ultimately, enhance the performances outcome of schools. Based on the concept of ”360-degree leadership” proposed by John C. Maxwell, this paper will start from the discussion of theories and topics regarding leadership and management in an organization and lead to the aims and significance of ”360-degree leadership”. Challenges, rules, guidelines, and values of being a 360-degree leader will be looked at in great depth, and from there, explain about how these sparks of innovation can be strategically use and deploy by directors in primary schools.
