摘要

昭和六年(1931)，日本政府為慶祝高雄州廳之行政辦公新建築落成（圖l）與全島實業大會的舉辦及高雄海洋觀測所的成立，並為宣揚其在高雄之各項經建成果，乃於同年5月l日～5月5日舉行「高雄港勢展覽會」一系列之慶祝活動。本研究乃以展覽會之各項相關活動為對象，並針對展覽活動中有關“視覺傳達設計”的部份做一研究與整理，以提供台灣史或台灣早期設計史研究之參考。

In Showa 6 (1931), the Japanese government held a series of activities from May 1 to May 5 in order to celebrate the completion of TAKAO SHU Government Building, the joint meeting of all of the enterprises on Taiwan Island, and the opening of TAKAO Marine Observatory, and to present its various accomplishments in economic reconstruction in TAKAO SHU. This study covers all the subjects of the activities held in this exhibition, especially the designs for visual communication. Hopefully this study will be helpful for the study of the history of Taiwan and the early history of designs in Taiwan.
