台灣地區原住民與平地學生設計相關能力的比較研究

A Study of Differences between Taiwan's Aboriginal and Non-aboriginal Students in Design Ability

摘要


本研究主要目的係針對不同族群學生的「設計相關能力」作系列的比較研究,一般人認為原住民在藝術或設計方面的天賦優於非原住民學生,兩者之間是否有顯著差異,實待有系統且深入的研究。隨著「全球化」與「本土化」的衝擊,融合不同族群的文化以建立「多元文化」的設計觀,將是未來設計教育需要進一步研究的課題;因此,不同族群設計相關能力的研究益形重要。本論文雖然是以原住民與非原住民的學生作為研究的對象,其研究結果顯示不同族群在「設計相關能力」的異同,可以提供一般設計教學與設計相關規畫的參考。

The purpose of this paper is intended to study the cultural difference in design ability between aboriginal and Taiwanese students. Most of people supposed that the design ability of aboriginal student is better than Taiwanese students', so the study is trying to identify any significance difference between them. On the other hand, the study of cultural difference is very important in product design, and the concept of multi-culture also become a key issue to the impact of ”globalization” and ”localization” in design field. Therefore, results from this study can be provided design educators with an idea of how to teach and plan a design course for the cultural difference students.
