桃園地區國中、高中職學生之性活動與相關因素之探討

Sexual Activities and Its Factors among Adolescents in Taiwan

摘要

目的：探討桃園縣在學青少年（國中生、高中生、高職生）的性活動及影響因素。方法：以多階段集束比例抽樣，獲得一代表性樣本，採用不記名問卷作調查。結果與結論：在2005年9-10月間共回收有效問卷1995份(72.7%)。在學青少年3.7%有性交經驗，以高職12年級有性交經驗的比例最高(15.9%)，其次為高職11年級(7.8%)及高中12年級(7.5%)。研究對象沒有發生任何性活動的比例為19.0-76.3%，有21.3-63.2%研究對象曾嘗試淺層性活動（包括約會、接吻、衣服外撫摸）及2.4-23.6%研究對象曾嘗試深層性活動（包括衣服內撫摸、口交、性交）。以未發生性活動與深層性活動作依變項，logistic複迴歸分析結果顯示，學校年級組別、「性倫理」態度、「婚前性行為」態度、性知識總分為顯著影響因素。以未發生性活動與淺層性活動作依變項，logistic複迴歸分析結果顯示，學校年級組別、「性倫理」態度、性別、性知識總分、「避孕」態度為顯著影響因素。與歐美國家同年齡的青少年比較，台灣的在學青少年性活動情況尚算保守。又性倫理態度為學生發生淺或深層性活動的重要影響因素。由於多數國中低年級尚未嘗試任何性活動，建議自國中低年級開始提供性教育，讓學生獲得正確的性觀念及正向的價值觀，瞭解性活動氾濫的後果，可能有助在學青少年延後發生深層性活動。

Objective:This study is to estimate the sexual activities of junior high school students, senior high school student, and vocational students in Taoyuan, and to explore the factors that may influence their sexual activity.Method:A multi-stage proportional cluster sampling was used to obtain a representative sample, and asked the students to anonymously fill out a questionnaire on their sexual activities, attitude toward sex, and sex knowledge.Results and conclusion:In September and October of 2005, we obtained 1995 valid questionnaires (72.7%). The overall proportion of intercourse experience was 3.7%. Grade 12 student in vocational school had the highest rate of intercourse experience (15.9%), followed by grade 11 student in vocational school (7.8%) and grade 12 students in senior high school (7.5%). The majority of the sample (19.0-76.3%) had never engaged in any form of sexual activity, 21.3-63.2% of the students had engaged in an entry level of sexual activity (dating, kissing, petting on top of clothing), and 2.4-23.6% had engaged in advanced sexual activity (petting under clothing, oral sex, intercourse). Multiple logistic regression reveals that the combination of school and school year, attitude subscale of sex ethics, premarital sexual behavior, sex knowledge was significantly associated with having had an advance level of sexual activity, when comparing to those without any sexual activity. Multiple logistic regression reveals that the combination of school and school year, the attitude subscale of sex ethics, gender, sexual knowledge, and attitude subscale of contraception was significantly associated with having had entry level of sexual activity, when comparing to those without any sexual activity. In conclusion, most adolescents are sexually conservative in Taiwan, when comparing to the adolescents in the US or European countries. Moreover, the attitude subscale of sex ethics is an important factor determining whether a student will engage in either the entry level or advanced sexual activity. Therefore, because of small proportion of grade 7 students involving any sexual activities, providing sexual education to junior high school students in their first year helps them gain accurate sex concepts and positive values, realize the consequences of sexual activities, and hope to delay advanced level of sexual activity in teenagers.
