某區域醫院SARS案例審查結果之探討

嚴重急性呼吸道症候群(SARS)是新興傳染病，目前並沒有醫療標準項目進行這些案例審查，為確保本院醫療服務品質，於是在後SARS期間積極對此案例設立查核標準並進行審查，作為改善醫療服務之依據。查核對象為本院住進負壓隔離觀察病室（兩道門）之通報疑似案例及非通報疑似案例但住進發燒隔離觀察病室（一道門），共分兩組即查核標準設立前為對照組，查核標準設立後為研究組。針對九十二年四月至六月進行選樣，研究組通報疑似案例共取得6位，非通報疑似案例則取得22位，對照組通報疑似案例共取得8位，非通報疑似案例則取得13位。以簡易統計方式進行資料分析，便於得知醫療及護理處置達成率之結果，從中發現問題並促使內部進行檢討與改善，以提昇本院照護品質，期望藉由本文可提供醫療同業之參考。

Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) is a newly rising infectious disease. At present, there is no standard medical guideline to evaluate those cases. To ensure the quality of medical service delivered at our hospital, we have started to look into the medical guideline in the post-SARS era aggressively as the base for improvement on the delivery of medical service. The cases to be evaluated are: patients who are reported as suspected cases of SARS and sent to the isolated room with two doors, and patients who are suspected cases but not reported and sent to the isolated room with one door. We view patients as the contrast group at the time before the standard medical guideline is established, and as the study group at the time after the standard medical guideline is established. From April to June, 2003, we come up with the following statistics: 6 suspected cases reported and 22 suspected cases unreported in the study group, 8 suspected cases reported and 13 suspected cases unreported in the contrast group. By using simple statistic method to analyze these data, we can know more about the effectiveness of our medical and nursing treatment, discover potential problems so that we can make some improvements and enhance the internal control, and hopefully boost the quality of our medical and nursing service.
