兒童在Tell-Me-A-Story上所呈現的人格側影之初探

An Exploratory Study of Children's Personality Profiles on the Tell-Me-A-Story

摘要


本研究主要目的在探討我國兒童在心理投射測驗「告訴我一個故事」(簡稱TEMAS)上所呈現的人格側影,分兩個連續性研究進行。研究一在探討本國兒童對TEMAS的反應,研究二則主要在探討兒童在TEMAS上呈現的人格功能,及其在自陳量表上的測驗結果之比較。本研究首先以147名五年級國小學童為對象,蒐集其對TEMAS圖卡之喜歡及熟悉程度,找出特殊圖卡後,再另取32名國小學童(包括適應良好與適應不良)為對象,比較兒童在喜歡或熟悉之圖片上敘說時間與語言流暢性是否不同。緊接著本研究透過兩位訓練過的評分員,將兒童在TEMAS上的故事做人格功能的評量,此外本研究另以一國內已在使用的適應量表作為比較之工具。綜合所有研究結果發現:(一)國內兒童在TEMAS上的平均反應時間與國外兒童相近,但女童比男童的語言流暢性較男童為佳,而且圖卡6,10,13,18,22等圖卡刺激的特殊性值得注意。(二)本研究發現國內兒童在TEMAS上所呈現的人格側影平均數中上,在性別與適應兩變項上沒有明顯差異,且與國外學童的差距不大,惟「性別認同」與「道德判斷」兩項分數起伏較大,值得後續研究。(三)本研究發現投射測驗與自陳適應量表相關低,可說是兩種不同的測驗,其互補性有待深究。(四)原TEMAS評分系統不夠細緻,可能是造成評分者信度不盡理想的可能原因之一。

The major purpose of this study was to explore Costantino's ”Tell Me A Story” (TEMAS) by two continual studies, one was to explore children's responses toward TEMAS, and the other was to investigate children's personality profiles on the TEMAS, and further, to compare the TEMAS and a sell-report scale currently used in Taiwan to measure the life-adjustment of children. One hundred and forty-seven fifth graders expressed their ”like of” and ”familiar with” the TEMAS cards, then comparisons between cards of like/dislike and familiar/unfamiliar on time reaction and verbal fluency were conducted. Two trained judges scored the personality functions based on children's stories. Then, comparisons between the TEMAS and the self-report scale were made. The results of this study were as follows: 1. Reaction time to the TEMAS from children in this study was similar to those children of the same age in Costantino's study. In this study, girls showed significantly higher verbal fluency than boys. 2. The mean scores on the TEMAS personality functions were above the average, which was very similar to the mean scores in Costantino's study. This study also found no significant differences either on the Sex or Adjustment; however, Sexual Identity and Moral Judgment were two of the functions that showed unusual results. 3. The correlations between the TEMAS and the self-report scale were very low, indicating that these might be two different or complementary measures on different personality dimensions. 4. The inter-rater reliability of the TEMAS was partly unsatisfactory due to the problem from the original scoring system, thus this needs to be improved in the future.
