生死批判思考能力測驗之初步建構

An Initiated Development of Critical Thinking Skills Teet for Life-and-Death Study Course

摘要


本研究的主要目的在嘗試建構一份生死批判思考能力測驗(TCTS-LDS)。研究者基於相關文獻、生死學內容、並參考華格批判思考測驗(Watson-Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal)裡的題目設計編擬試題,得測驗題向度包括:辨認假設、辨認關連、歸納、推論、解釋及評鑑等六個分量表。擬題之後邀請具哲學、生死學教學的學者審視測驗題的合適性及可讀性,並作修改題目。續以4位學生針對題目的瞭解性再做修訂,再以168位四技及二技學生做預試,經由測驗題的項目分析刪去2個題目,得到22個題目的生死批判思考能力測驗。再以便利取樣705位專科生、大學生做正式測試,測驗的內在一致性信度KR係數為0.51,折半信度Guttman 0.57,ICC 0.40,兩週後的再測信度Pearson相關係數為0.79。除專家內容效度外,由已知團體在得分上的差異顯示此量表具有良好的建構效度,與葉玉珠等人(2001)編制的成人批判思考測驗具有顯著相關性,顯示具有某程度的同時效度;另外由參與生死學課程學生的前後測分數的顯著差異,也顯示此測驗具有良好的預測效度。因此可說此測驗具有可接受的信效度。

The purpose of this study was trying to develop the test of critical thinking skills for Life-and-death Study (TCTS-LDS). This test was initially developed by the authors, based on the reference, the contents of life and death study, and the test design of Watson-Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal (WGCTA). The original test includes 24 items classified into six subtests as relevance, inductions, deductions, interpretations, recognition of assumptions, and evaluation of arguments. Then this test was refined based on the experts' and students' suggestion. After the pretest and item analyses with 168 college students, two test items were deleted with 22 items in total. A purposive (convenient) sampling were used, with the sample recruited from seven classes and from three Life-and-death Study classes (n=705). The examination of reliability of the 22-item test revealed a Kuder-Richardson Coefficient of .51, accepted split-half reliability (Gunman=.57; ICC=.40), and good test-retest reliability (r=.79). A s for the validity of the test, besides expert content validity, the construct validity of this test was addressed by a contrast-groups approach, the concurrent validity of this test with TCTS-A was significantly positive correlated (r=.24, p<.001), and the predictive validity of this test was proved by a significant difference between pre-and-post test. It was concluded that the resulting test was both reliable and valid.
