國民中學閱讀推理篩選測驗編製報告

Reading Comprehension Screening Test for Junior High School Students

摘要


本測驗旨在為國民中學學生編製一份有辨別力又容易實施的閱讀理解篩選測驗。研究指出有些學生認字在一般水準或以上但是理解有困難,他們明顯有文法覺知上的缺失(Nation & Snowling, 2000)。因此本研究開發以文章結構為依據的閱讀理解評量。經過多次試作與正式施測,選出18題代表共變、比較對照、描述、分類、序列五結構,再歸類成直述和類括兩大類。學生要由代表結構的關鍵詞推出哪一句適合上一句,本測驗因此稱為「國民中學閱讀推理篩選測驗」。施測結果顯示本測驗有內部一致性,且能有效區分年級上的差異。效標關連效度也證實所測量的為閱讀能力。更重要的是,測驗能區分出低、中及高閱讀程度學生。經由兩個星期的間隔,再測信度良好,答錯題目者依舊無法正確回答。本測驗題數不多,施測容易,且是一個能有效篩選國中學生是否有閱讀困難的工具。

Reading comprehension screening test was developed by adopting text structure liking phrases and/or connectives to check junior high school student's reading comprehension ability. This is a paper-and-pencil test with 18 items. Each item contains a phrase which highlights the relationship between 2 clauses. Student's job is to find an appropriate clause which fits the first one by the definition of the linking phrase. The test was carried out with 1688 grades 7 to 9 students throughout Taiwan island. The test-retest reliability and consistency analysis also show students who scored high for the first time kept the high score for the second time. Same pattern stands for those who scored low on the test. Moreover, the test has statistically high correlations with other standardized reading tests. It is evidenced that this is a valid and reliable reading comprehension screening test which is good for junior high school students.
