Towards and Beyond Lakatos: An Introduction to the Philosophy of Economics
並列摘要
This paper on the philosophy of economics contains two parts. The first part reviews the history of the philosophy of economics, and its connection with the philosophy of science. The second part suggests some salient research topics that are currently under debate in this field. The philosophy of models is specially introduced in order to understand their heuristic powers and the role that models play in economics and philosophy of economics, respectively.
