Recently, Taiwanese scholars have been paying greater attention to publication in leading international journals. The purpose of this paper then is to examine journal publication outcomes of Taiwanese scholars and institutes in organization and management during 1998-2002. The results show that Taiwan's management or business schools as a whole produce about 10-15 papers per year during the period studied, with the exception of the year 2000. It also observed a slightly uprising trend in institutional research productivity. By calculating each journal article author's contributions proportionally, the study also shows that publication activity in organization and management is best performed by National Central University, followed by National Chiao Tung University, National Cheng Chi University & National Tsing Hua University, Providence University, National Chung Hsing University, and National Taiwan University and so on.
