This study focuses on the topic of supply chain relationship management and explores the impact of manufacturer's market orientation on its flexibility performance, and in turn on supply chain relationship maintenance. The results, which based on data from 118 computer-related hardware manufacturers in Taiwan, showed that the influences of manufacturer's upstream market orientation on its flexibility performance were not significant, but manufacturer's downstream market orientation has significantly positive relationship with its flexibility performance, including volume flexibility, launch flexibility, and distribution flexibility. In addition, except launch flexibility, manufacturer's volume flexibility and distribution flexibility would induce supply chain members to sustain the long-term relationships with the manufacturer.
