Effect of Goal orientation and Perceived Motivational Climate on Intrinsic Motivation among Table Tennis Players

摘要

本研究之目的：（一）比較不同性別之桌球選手的運動目標取向、知覺動機及內在動機之差異；（二）探討選手的運動目標取向、知覺動機氣候及內在動機之相關。統計方法為獨立樣本t考驗與皮爾遜積差相關。受試對象為94年參加桌球國手選拔賽之桌球選手，平均年齡為16.68±2.94歲，共計241人。受試者在非比賽期間填寫運動目標取向量表、知覺運動動機氣候量表及運動動機量表。研究結果顯示：（一）男女選手在運動目標取向、知覺動機氣候與內在動機均無顯著差存在。（二）選手的內在動機與目標取向及知覺動機氣候均呈顯著正相關。

The purposes of the present study are 1) to compare sports goal orientation and perceived motivational climate between male and female table tennis athletes; 2) the correlation among goal orientation and perceived motivational climate on intrinsic motivation in table tennis players. Statistical methods used in this study were independent t-test and Pearson product moment correlation. The participants include 241 table tennis players in the competition for National Team of Chinese Taipei. Sport goal orientation scale, perceived motivational climate in sport questionnaire sport motivation scale were delivered to all subjects. The result showed that 1) no gender difference in sports goal orientation, perceived motivational climate, and intrinsic motivation were found; 2) sports goal orientation, perceived motivational climate, and intrinsic motivation were significantly intercorrelated.
