本研究之目的在於了解高中優秀軟式網球選手特質運動心理堅韌性之現況;並進一步探討選手背景變項在特質運動心理堅韌性之差異情形。本研究對象以96學年度代表各縣市參與全國中等學校運動會軟式網球決賽之前八強隊伍,以普查的方式進行調查,共施測96份問卷,回收有效問卷88份,回收率為91.92%。研究工具以黃崇儒(2004)編製之「特質運動心理堅韌性量表」。資料處理採描述性統計、獨立樣本t檢定、單因子變異數分析、重覆量數、雪費法(Scheffe)及LSD(Least Significant Difference)事後比較等統計方法處理資料。本研究主要結論為: 一、全國高中優秀軟式網球選手在運動心理堅韌性上以積極奮鬥堅韌性表現最佳;抗壓性堅韌性最差。 二、一年級選手在忍受傷痛堅韌性上表現優於二年級選手;投入軟式網球運動年資3年以上之選手在積極奮鬥部份高於未滿1年之選手;小學就學習軟式網球之選手在積極奮鬥部份高於高中才開始學習軟式網球之選手。
The purposes of this research were to a) understand the current status for mental toughness among soft tennis ball players in high schools; b) compare the different mental toughness status among selected demographic variables on soft tennis ball players. The participants were selected form the academic year of 2007 and represented each county and city as the top eight teams in the sports events of nationwide middle school's soft tennis finals. The general survey was conducted with dispensing 96 copies of survey sheets and 88 valid sheets returned, with a 91.92% return ratio. Questionnaire was based on ”Trait Mental Toughness Inventory”: developed by Hung Chung-Ju (2004). Information and data processing was adopted descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, multivariate analysis, Scheffe and Least Significant difference (LSD) Post hoc Test, etc. The main conclusions for this research were as follows: 1. The proactive and aggressiveness in fighting for the high schools soft tennis players was rated the best; nonetheless, the toughness for the stress level was rated the worst. 2. The freshman athletes' performances in the category for pain suffering was rated better than that for the sophomore. The aggressiveness in fighting for the athlete with more than 3 years of experiences in soft tennis was rated higher than that for the athletes with less than one year of experience. Those who learned soft tennis in elementary schools were rated higher than those who started to be exposed to soft tennis in high school.
