A brief introduction of palliative care practices in Hong Kong

Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau launched the specialty course of 〞Hospice and Palliative Nursing〞 under the program 〞Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Nursing Programme〞 (PDAN) with Hospital Authority of Hong Kong. The authors, as the students of this programme, had the opportunity to study in classes and clinic observations of palliative care in Hong Kong. Palliative care in Hong Kong covers a range of clinical areas and involves multi-parties, aiming to provide comprehensive and accessible services for patients and their family members. It is hoped that our sharing of palliative care practices in Hong Kong can evoke reflections on the way to improve the palliative care nursing in Macao.
