The study aims to explore the mystery of the Aluzhi stream recorded in the Zhanghua County History written by Zho Xi during the period of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty by using the ancient texts so that this nearly 200-year mystery can be unveiled. Alidu, Ali zhun and Alidu yang (ocean) were always repeated in the agreements; the researcher therefore knew that Alidu zhun existed in the 30 years of Cianlong in the Qing Dynasty. The present Guoxizhi located in Shizhuan Li, Caotun was the Alidu, an aboriginal name mentioned quite often in the agreements. The ancient name of Shizhuan was Shitopu, and it belongs to Cielaozhuang as well as the Guoxizhi. The phonetics of Aluzhi sounds like Alidu in Taiwanese. Related literatures were not found while writing the Zhanghua County History and interviews were carried out at that period; consequently, Aluzhi was heard and the mystery resulted. Fourteen agreements and relevant historical documents of the Zhanghua County History were reviewed in the study. Aluzhi zhun was not found at all in the records but Alidu zhun appears in the agreements.
