台灣苗栗縣竹南地區白線斑蚊幼蟲之調查

Survey of Aedes spp. Mosquito Larvae in Zhu-Nan Area of Miao Li County Taiwan

摘要


白線斑蚊為苗栗縣竹南地區傳染登革熟和犬心絲蟲的主要病媒紋,為瞭解經過多年的登革熱防治工作之後,白線斑蚊在竹南地區的分佈與密度,我們於2002年1月到12月,選取竹南地區20個里,調查白線斑蚊幼蟲的布魯氏指數。在調查期間,共發現74個陽性容器,各種積水容器之白線斑蚊陽性容器百分比,以水桶最高,佔69%,瓶罐22%次之,玻璃杯為8%。密度等級調查發現2級以下佔83%,其中0級有5個里,1級有10個里,2級有1個里。密度等級3級以上者有4個里,分別是照南里、營盤里、崎頂里與正南里,而且集中在7月和8月。其中正南里於8月份調查時,布魯氏指數高達5級,經過病媒蚊撲滅措施後,12月份再度調查時,布魯氏指數降為0級。本研究利用整個年度的完整調查,確認白線斑蚊為竹南地區的主要病媒蚊,夏季是主要的滋生季節。從正南里的經驗顯示,只要積極清除病媒蚊滋生源,即可有效的降低病媒蚊密度,確保人畜健康。

Aedes albopictus is known to be the most important vector of Dengue fever in Zhu Nan area. The purposes of this study were to understand the epidemiological profile and seasonal abundance of Aedes populations. This survey from Jan. 2002 to Dec. 2002 showed that among 20 villages monitored for Aedes albopictus. Seventy-four breeding containers were found during this investigation. Mosquito larvae were observed in 69% of the water buckets, 22% of the jars and 8% of the glasses. The larval density grade of 83% of the villages did not reach 2. There were 4 villages had the larval density figure 3 or more, including Zhao Nan village. Ying Pan village, Qi Ding village and Zheng Nan village. The density grade of Zheng Nan village reached 5 on August and that of the village was 0 on December after a wiping out mosquitoes program. This study showed that clearance of public breeding wells and health education may encourage those breeding sites removal.
