白色三品種土番鴨在生長期紅血球相與白血球相之變化

摘要


白色三品種土番鴨是台灣選育之肉鴨種,本試驗之目的係在建立土番鴨在2至12週齡紅血球相與白血球相之變化,以探討週齡及性別對土番鴨血液性狀之影響,並提供作為建立土番鴨血液學之用。本試驗土番鴨分別在2、4、6、8、10及12週齡採血並測定血液中紅血球與白血球數目、血紅素濃度、血容比值、平均紅血球容積、平均紅血球血紅素濃度、平均紅血球血紅素與白血球分類百分比。試驗結果顯示,試驗期間土番鴨血液紅血球數目總平均值以雄鴨顯著高於雌鴨,然而,平均紅血球血紅素量、平均紅血球血紅素濃度以雌鴨顯著高於雄鴨。紅血球數目、血紅素濃度與血容比值,不論性別均隨週齡之增加而增加,並且上述三項皆與週齡呈線性關係。全部試驗期間各週齡之白血球數目平均值,以雌土番鴨者顯著高於雄鴨者。年輕的土番鴨(2週齡)有較低的白血球數目。土番鴨白血球類型以異嗜白血球最多,佔白血球總數目一半以上,並且以淋巴球居次。土番鴨各週齡及試驗期間之血液各類型之白血球平均值,在性別之間無顯著差異。

White-three-breed mule duck were selected and developed as meat type in Taiwan. The objective of this experiment was to establish the changes of erythrocyte and leukocyte pictures in white-three-breed mule duck from 2 to 12 wks of age for studying the effects of age and sex on blood performance and establishing basic data of hematology in mule duck. Blood samples of duck were collected from 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 wks of age. The values of red blood cell (RBC) and leukocyte number, hemoglobin (Hb), packed cell volume (PCV), mean corpuscular volume (MCV), mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (MCHC), mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH), leukocyte and its differential counts were determined. In this experiment it indicated that there is a higher level in RBC number of males than that of females; however, female mule duck had larger values of MCH and MCHC than those of male mule duck. The values of RBC number, Hb, PCV increased as age advanced. There were linear relationships between the former three parameters and age in mule duck. Male mule duck had higher total leukocyte number overall mean than that of female duck during the whole experimental period. Comparing of age, young mule duck at 2 wks of age had the lowest total leukocytes number. The percentage of heterophils is higher than for any other cell type, comprising more than half of the total count, and the percentage of Iymphocytes are the second group. There were no differently significant in leukocyte differential counts between both sexes of mule duck in each age group during the whole experimental period.
