自91年1月至92年5月針對台灣地區75個豬場,311個病例進行檢體採集並以組織病理學檢查、聚合酶鏈鎖反應、反轉錄聚合酶鏈鎖反應、病毒分離及細菌分離等技術診斷第二型豬環狀病毒(porcine circovirus type 2; PCV2)及其他病原之感染狀況。在所有收集的病例中,肺臟呈現肺炎病灶且檢出一種以上病原的比率高達95.2%,感染PCV2者共有214例(68.8%),受感染的豬場共有69場(92%)。其中北部、中部、南部及東部的豬場感染PCV2的比率分別為85.7%、100%、83.3%及100%,而豬隻的PCV2感染率則分別為68%、78.8%、62.9%及45.5%。PCV2混合其他細菌、黴漿菌或病毒感染的比率高達95.3%,其中以混合感染黴漿菌的比率最高,達69.6%,其次為巴氏桿菌(51.9%)。而PCV2與豬生殖與呼吸道綜合症病毒混合感染比率達19.2%,與豬流行性感冒病毒混合感染比率為0.9%。上述調查結果顯示台灣地區PCV2之感染情形極為普遍,且感染PCV2的病例合併其他病原感染的比率極高。
To investigate the prevalence of PCV2 infection in Taiwan, 311 cases collected from 75 farms between January 2002 and May 2003 were examined. 95.2% of the cases showed pneumonia under histopathological examination and more than one pathogen was detected in all of these cases. The infection rates of PCV2 in pigs and pig herds were 68.8% and 92%, respectively. The PCV2 infection rates of Northern, Middle, Southern, and Eastern Taiwan pig farms were 85.7%, 100%, 83.3%, and 100%, respectively. The percentages of PCV2-infected pigs of Northern, Middle, Southern and Eastern Taiwan were 68%. 78.8%, 62.9%, and 45.5%, respectively. Among those PCV2-infected cases, 95.3% had concurrent infections of mycoplasma, bacteria and/ or other viruses. Mycoplasma was the most commonly observed co-infection, reaching 69.6%, followed by Pasteurella multocida (51. 9%). 19.2% of PCV2-infected pigs had porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus infection. According to these data, PCV2 infect ion is common in pig herds in Taiwan and it is frequently co-infection with other pathogens.
