台灣地區母馬生殖道之菌相調查

摘要

為調查臨床症狀健康母馬生殖道菌相，本實驗自民國91年6月至92年7月間，對台灣中、南部四個馬場30匹健康母馬在發情間期（diestrus）時分別由子宮、前庭、陰蒂窩及陰蒂竇進行採樣作細菌學培養。結果由外生殖道分別有10匹（33.3％）有Escherichia coli、有3匹（10.0％）有Streptococcus zooepidemicus、各有1匹（3.3％）有Klebsiella pneumoniae及Pseudomonas aeruginosa被分離出，但這些細菌皆沒有從子宮內膜中分離到。本實驗結果顯示，台灣地區母馬的生殖道菌相中，於外生殖道存在著潛在的病原菌，故於馬匹配種時應特別注意。

Between June 2002 and July 2003, thirty healthy mares were used for the investigation of bacterial flora of the genital tract. Swab sampling of uterus, vestibule, clitoral fossa, and clitoral sinus for bacteriological culture was performed on the 30 clinically healthy mares during their diestrus period. The results indicated that Escherichia coli were cultured from the clitoral and vestibule swab specimens of 10 (33.3%) mares, Streptococcus zooepidemicus from the clitoral and vestibule swab specimens of 3 (10.0%) mares, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Klebsiella pneumoniae from the clitoral fossa and clitoral sinus of 1 (3.3%) mare, respectively. No bacteria were found from the endometrium swab specimens. It is concluded that the outer reproductive tract supports the growth of various potentially pathogenic organisms, and special care should be taken before breeding.
