本研究目的在探討台東縣公共衛生護理人員之人口學特徵與其專業承諾和工作價值觀的研究。本研究採橫斷性調查法,以方便取樣,選取公共衛生護理人員爲研究調查對象,於民國93年4月25日至93 年5月31日進行資料收集,研究工具包括「個人基本資料」、「專業承諾量表」、「工作價值觀量表」等三部份問卷量表,共發出127份問卷,有效回收125份,有效回收率98.4%。所得資料以SPSS for Windows 10.0版進行分析,百分比、平均值、標準差、變異數分析、相關係數分析等統計方法進行資料整理分析。研究結果顯示,平地鄉及山地鄉在專業承諾與工作價值觀無顯著差異;平地鄉公共衛生護理人員專業承諾與工作價值觀平均得分高於山地鄉;兩組不同型態衛生所會因負責地段人口數、工作動機、上班通勤時間、家人支持度及重新選擇衛生所之不同在專業承諾及工作價值觀有顯著差異;專業承諾與工作價值觀達顯著正相關。藉由研究結果,提供當地衛生局所在規劃護理人員激勵管理、工作設計及工作分配等方面做參考,以提升護理人員爲公共衛生護理專業的努力、工作滿足、工作價值觀及對工作投入,進而提高民眾獲得最佳的醫療保健品質服務。
The purpose of this study was to explore the professional commitment and work values among public health nurses in Taitung County, Taiwan. This was carried out by the cross-sectional investigation method and convenience sampling; public health nurses were selected as the subjects of this research investigation and the data were collected over the period from April 25, 2004 to May 31, 2004. The research tools included three questionnaires, which were a ”personnel basic information”, a ”professional commitment scale”, and a ”work values scale”. A total of 127 copies of the questionnaires were distributed and 125 copies were returned, giving an effective return rate of 98.4%. The data generated were analyzed by use of SPSS for Windows 10.0. Statistical methods including means, standard deviations, variation analysis and correlation coefficient analysis were used. The study results indicated that there was no significant difference in professional commitment and work values between the plains area and the mountainous area of Taitung County. The overall average scores for professional commitment and work values among public health nurses in plains area were higher than that in mountain-area, which might suggest a difference in professional commitment and work values based on the population under each nurse, their work motives, their work commute time, their degree of family support and the selection of the health station. It was, however, noted that there is a signifi cant correlation between professional commitment and work values. The study results provide a reference for local health bureaus and stations when planning nurse on-job training programs, carrying out job design, and undertaking job allotment. This will help to improve public health nurses in terms of their profession capacity, job satisfaction, work values and job input. In turn, an optimization of the quality of medical health service to citizens will be achieved.
