Leisure is a very important part of human life. A close correlation between leisure and happiness has been found in western research. However, leisure is not as important in Taiwan society as in Western culture. The principal intention of this study was to investigate the correlation between happiness and leisure activities in Taiwan society. There were 158 undergraduate students were interviewed. The ten most popular leisure activities were watching television, listening to the music, relaxing, meditating, getting on internet, listening to the radio programs, jointing social activities, playing video games, exercising and going to restaurant. Different gender has different leisure style that is fitted into Chinese cultural expectation. Happiness is significant correlated with the involvement of leisure activities. However, after controlling the effects of personality in the regression model, there is no specific style of leisure activities can predict happiness.
