Among the cancer survivors, sexuality is an important aspect of quality of life. In our clinical practice, health care professionals and patients do not have adequate communications about sexuality after cancer treatment. Based on literature review, the article demonstrates prevalence of different sexual dysfunctions in cancer survivors, provides several feasible models, such as BETTER, and delineates the goals of the interview, and the considerations, and notes during the process. Health care professionals could find the references and evidences as the basis to take history about sexuality in adult cancer survivors.
