國內大專院校雖有服務課程,但多數還是停留在環境清潔與維護的勞動教育階段,服務範圍也多以學校空間為主。不過,近年來也已陸續開始有大學,將原本以勞動教育為主的服務教育,轉型為重視學生學習與服務的「服務學習課程」方式進行,甚也有設立專責單位主導推動服務學習課程者。 服務學習是美國高等教育的重要一環,他山之石可以攻錯,由於美國推展服務學習經驗之豐碩、服務學習本身之重要性及其可能創造效益之大,加上課程設計又是影響學生學習成效與服務學習方案成功與否的關鍵要素之一。因此,本文乃以美國高等教育服務學習方案之設計為主題,進行探究。本研究主要目的有三: 1.介紹美國高等教育服務學學習方案實施類型。 2.了解美國高等教育服務學學習方案設計之發展。 3.參照美國經驗對我國高等教育服務學習方案設計提出建議。
Although there are service programs in higher education in Taiwan, they focus on cleaning and maintaining campus environment. However, some universities are transferring their service programs from labor-based to service-learning paradigm, and even set up a unit to take charge of the matter alone. Service learning plays an important role in American higher education. They have plentiful experience to share us Taiwan. The purpose of the study are as follows: Introduce the implementation models of service learning programs in higher education in the United States. 2. Understand the development of program design of service learning in higher education in the United States. 3. Propose suggestions for improving the program design of service learning in higher education institutions in Taiwan.
