摘要

困於存在與虛無架構中的白先勇之台北人，困其虛無而始終成為使無法將他鄉化作故鄉，終乃台北會成為一個悲慘世界；人陷在回憶、往事之中，而不能是往事如煙，著實悲慘；白先勇既同情這些異鄉人，卻自己也處於存在與虛無的架構中，無可自拔。再多的物質、學歷、繁華、高牆大院，也不能與心靈的幸福與喜悅相提並論。回首面對現實，或是開展新的未來，原來在處身於結構中牢不可破的臺北人世界裡竟如此艱難。臺北人必須運用差異來瓦解「異鄉人」或「存在與虛無」的同一性哲學。

Taipei people that Hsien-yung, Pai describes, they are stranded in the structure of being and nothingness, so can't change the strange land into homeland all the time. So Taipei is turned into one miserable world. Because people have been living in remembering, past event all the time. Hsien-yung, Pai sympathizes with these outsiders, but because he himself is unable to break away from the structure of this being and nothingness. So, even a lot more of abundant material comforts can't bring the happy and happiness of soul either. To Taipei people, no matter face reality or march toward new future, it is very difficult. This text uses the view of the difference, to discuss the philosophy questions of' outsider in Taipei 'or' being and nothingness'.
