從運動中學習品德教育-以劍道運動爲例

Ethics Education Learning via Exercise-Kendo

摘要


在近年來本位主義的抬頭之下,人慾的過份伸張,反使人們陷入更茫然無依的境地。而品德教育的落實,有助淨化及導正社會風氣,提升國民素質。品德教育乃重知行合一,透過他律至自律的教育動態,進而建立正確的人生目標、價值觀及態度。劍道的東方哲學智慧與此不謀而合。「以禮為始,以禮為終」每一個習劍的過程,都是自我教育、自我啟發,學習人與人互相尊重瞭解,以內外兼修高尚人格為目的,鍛鍊出沉著、冷靜、不動搖之心。因此,劍道運動的精神和品德教育「以增進思辯、選擇、反省、認同、欣賞」之能力相同。

With the raising of selfish departmentalism, the losing crowed overflowed with human desire nowadays. Ethics Education, however, is definitely the key to pure and lead the whole society positively. People are able to establish life-ambition, correct values and attitudes towards their lives through the developing education process-from heteronomy to autonomy. Furthermore, both knowing and practicing are placed importantly in Ethics Education. Kendo, for instance, a self-disciplined sport, is provided the same principles which include speculation, selection, introspection, identification, and admiration with Ethics Education. During Kendo-learning, learners acquire not only physique training, but also respect among each other.
