談一代球后王思婷－爸爸教練的偉業

台灣的網球發展與歷史背景息息相關，在1949政府遷台後，軟網選手紛紛轉為政府、軍方所提倡的硬網，並且在公部門的資助下維持台灣網球的新陳代謝。隨著台灣經濟起飛，1980年代普遍富裕化，民眾對休閒活動的興趣提高，又逢胡娜事件成為政府宣傳的案例，引發了網球熱潮，網球神童王思婷以12歲稚齡成為新球后，從此媒體關注，長達16年的職業生涯，不僅為國爭光，更創造出難以跨越的世界排名！而眾人皆知王思婷父親即為教練，於是「網球爸爸」的現象在台灣更形發燒，也成為台灣網壇的著名現象。目的：本研究主要目的在探討王思婷的父親是如何致力於女兒的訓練上，並使其發光發熱。方法：本研究主要以王思婷為訪談對象進行訪談，過程中將全程錄音，以利後續謄錄逐字稿。逐字稿謄錄後，將寄回給研究參與者進行確認。結果：在父親兼任教練的雙重角色下，王思婷一路的培訓方式、國內外大小比賽等事宜，以及最重要的球員與學生角色的衝突，全仰賴身為台南高工老師爸爸一手包辦處理。結論：王文直先生對於學校系統相對熟悉，四處洽談折衝，細心為王思婷擘劃出一條兼顧比賽與升學的道路，除了保障了女兒的未來人生，也在無後顧之憂的狀況下，為台灣創造出網壇的驚奇！

The tennis development of Taiwan is closely linked to the history background of tennis. After the government moved to Taiwan in 1949, soft tennis players turned into the hard tennis which the government and the military promote little by little. Tennis in Taiwan was keep operating with the funds from public department. Along of the economy of Taiwan is getting better. It is a universally rich society, in 1980s, people are more interesting in leisure activities, and Hu Na event becomes the propagating example of the government. That causes the tennis fever. The genius child of tennis, Sih Ting, Wang, become the tennis queen when she was 12. From then on, the media followed her professional career up to 16 years. Not only glory for the country, but create the hard-reaching world rank. And everyone knows Wang's father is her coach, then ＂Tennis dad＂ is more popular in Taiwan, also becomes a famous phenomenon. Under the double characters that is father and coach, the training methods, all the contests whether domestic or abroad, and the most important thing that is the conflict of player and student, all depended on her father who is a teacher in Tainan Industrial High School Fortunately, Mr. Wen Chih Wang is familiar with the school system, contact and negotiation everywhere, and planned a road which can take into account between the competition and schoolwork carefully. Not only guarantee daughter's future, but make the surprise of Taiwan Tennis without any worries.
