博物館對可提供高齡者社會支持之價值與功能

The Values and Functions Provided by Museums for Senior Citizens in an Aging Society

摘要


高齡化社會的到來是潮流所趨,臺灣地區亦已逐漸步入高齡化社會結構。高齡者參與活動時,難免會遇到一些障礙,若有適時的社會支持加以協助的話,可幫助高齡學習者克服障礙與紓解壓力,並增加幸福感。因而,我們重視高齡者的社會支持對老年生活的影響攸關重要。面對終身學習社會的新局勢,博物館更有責任提供高齡者社會支持,讓高齡者繼續參與學習。本文特針對博物館之教育價值、博物館提供高齡者之社會支持、博物館提供高齡者社會支持之功能進行分析評論,期待博物館可運用多元的方式,以推展終身學習,增強落實高齡教育的目的。

The arrival of aging society is a trend, Taiwan has gradually become an aging social structure. The elder participates in the activity can face some barriers. However, if the social supports can assist them in a timely manner, it can help the elder overcome barriers, relieve their pressure and make their happiness increased. Thus, it is important to give the elder needed social supports. Facing the lifelong learning society, museums have the responsibilities to provide social supports for the elder to continue in learning. This article analizes the educational values, the social supports and the functions of social supports for the elder by museums and hopes museums can use multiple ways to promote lifelong learnings to achieve the purposes of senior education.
