中島敦「虎狩」論

中島敦的「虎狩」是應雜誌『中央公論』（1934．1）的募集而寫成的作品。該年七月結果揭曉，因被選為＜會外佳作＞僅公佈作品名稱以及作者姓名，作品本身則一直等到中島敦個人第一本單行本（1942．7）發行時才被收錄、公開。故事開始的契機是起因於主人翁「我」在相隔15，6年後，偶遇中學時的友人趙，回憶過往進而開始描述多年前在朝鮮首都京城時曾經體驗的獵虎經驗。早已有先學指出，本作品可謂是中島敦文學的出發之作。從他自身的書信中也可看出，他對於此作品抱有相當大的信心。然而，諸多評論家卻對這篇作品評價不高。考究其因，可歸因於二點。一是對於作品的成立背景－被殖民者的朝鮮人問題－論述不深。其二則是作品本身的結構問題。或許是贅言，當作者將作品的時空背景設定於當時的殖民地朝鮮，就不容我們忽視殖民地本身的時空論述。然而概觀至今的研究内容，多數研究者論述本作品時，受此影響以致於過度偏重殖民以及帝國論述，使得作品解釋愈趨狹窄、單一。本論文除了將對當時的殖民地時空納入研究範疇之外，更將對作品的內部結構，特別是針對話者「我」的敘事口吻進行分析，欲藉由這些縝密的分析重新提示新的作品論述。

”Torakari” of Nakajima Atsushi was a work in response to the invitation of the journal 'Chuokoron' in 1934. Originally, due to the peer-reviewed result was not good enough for the complete work to be published, only the authors' name and the title of the work was available. The work was not available to the public until the Nakajima Atsushi's first compilation was published in 1942.The story began with a reunion of the ”Ego” and his high school classmate ”Chao” by chance after graduation for 15-6 years. This reunion reminded ”Ego” of the memory of hunting tiger together in the capital of Korea. Previous research has indicated that 'Torakari' is the virgin work of Nakajima Atsushi. In the author's letters, great confidence was seen toward this work. However, critique does not think high of this work because of two reasons. Firstly, the presentation of the colonial background in Korea was too shallow. Secondly, the work appeared of structural problem.These perspectives toward 'Torakari' had led the subsequent commentators to overly emphasis on the relationships between Japanese empire and the Korean colony. Consequently the interpretation of thework was narrowed down to exclude other possibilities for new perspectives. This study therefore, will address the internal structure of the work itself, taking a subjective viewpoint to depict the story under a renewed colonial backdrop in an attempt to find a new life in the work of 'Torakari'.
