In the universe, color is everywhere. It adds basic ingredients to mankind, and leads to a splendid life for human history. It can be found in food, clothing, living, moving, learning and entertaining. This study is trying to identify the color preference of a young group of people, specifically called the Rukai tribe in Taiwan. The research method can be described in two phases. First is literature review. And second is the method of questionnaire survey, which is conducted and data analyzed after that. The total of questionnaire sent out is 80, and 72 are valid after collecting back. The results reported that the sample of 26% of male and 24% of female of the youth of Rukai tribe like the color black. On the contrary, orange and green are the least favor of color, only 2% of male of Rukai tribe like them. As for the female of the youth of Rukai tribe, the color they do not like the most is yellow.
