藝術陣頭臉譜彩繪之創作-以八家將為例

The Creation of Artistic Troupe Makeup-A Case Study of Ba Jia Jiang

摘要


在台灣廟會慶典中八家將是不可或缺的重要藝術陣頭,也為廟會活動帶來高潮。八家將出巡時的服裝、臉譜彩繪、隊形變化陣法……等,總是令人印象深刻。本研究以台灣八家將臉譜彩會為主,並籍由文獻資料蒐集和田野調查、訪問、參與活動等,研究分析台灣八家將與什家將之區別,八家將臉譜彩繪之演進、繪臉技法、色料應用,以及研究分析八家將臉譜彩繪與國劇臉譜彩繪之關連性,進而以台灣八家將創始團臉譜彩繪之重點特徵為創作基礎,將臉譜線條、形態、色彩等重新設計,以平塗、勾勒、漸層等技法,搭配多媒材應用,為八家將的每位成員各設計三款臉譜彩繪,除了提升八家將臉譜圖騰之多樣性、精細性和立體性外,也為八家將創造新的視覺風貌。

In Taiwan temple fairs, Ba Jia Jiang is an important artistic troupe that also brings the climax in the local worship festivals. When Ba Jia Jiang show up in the worship parade, their costume, makeup and formation changes always make people impressive. The study focus on Ba Jia Jiang's facial painting in Taiwan by literature review, field research, interview and participate in activities. Then analyze the difference between Ba Jia Jiang and Shi Jia Jiang, the revolution of facial painting, drawing techniques, pigment application and the relation between Ba Jia Jiang facial painting and Chinese Opera facial painting. Furthermore, the main features of Ba Jia Jiang founding group is the creative basis and re-design the facial lines, shapes and colors. Designing three styles facial paintings for each member of Ba Jia Jiang by flat brash, outlined, gradation and multi-media application, not only enhance the diversity, precision and three-dimensional of Ba Jia Jiang facial totems, but also create new visual style.
