輕度智能障礙者生涯諮商經驗之行動研究

The Action Research of Career Counseling Experience for Mild Intelligent Disabilities

摘要


本研究主要目的是籍由行動研究過程,理解輕度智能障礙者在生涯諮商中的樣貌與經驗,以行動中的省思與經驗作為輕度智能障礙者生涯諮商實務知識的來源。本研究主要參與者為兩位輕度智能障礙者,研究者採質性取向方法,透過諮商、訪談、日誌、文件等進行資料收集與分析,並依行動研究的計畫、行動、觀察、省思、修正循環過程,逐一形成輕度智能障礙者的生涯諮商經驗。研究結果呈現在生涯諮商過程中,可看到輕度智能障礙者豐富精采的生涯樣貌,他們的生活角色是多元的、動態的,與傳統疾病觀點、障礙觀點所框架的面貌有很大的不同。另一方面,從生涯諮商過程中可看見輕度智能障礙者對自我、環境的覺知,及生涯行動力的展現,也能從輕度智能障礙者的觀點,理解他們的諮商互動經驗與轉變。最後,根據本研究的結果與研究者的省思,對諮商實務工作者、未來研究提出具體建議。

Through action research process, this study try to understand the experience of the mild intelligent disabilities in career counseling. Through the experience of action as the origin of the career counseling, the researcher tried to establish the practice knowledge for the mild intelligent disabilities. The main participants of this research are two adults with mild intelligent disabilities. Qualitative research methods were conducted through counseling, interviews, diary notes, and documents. To form the career counseling experience of mild intelligent disabilities was the action research circle process, included planning, action, observation, reflection and revision. The findings presented in career counseling process. the rich brilliant career appearance of mild intelligent disabilities was found, and their life roles are multi-dimensional and dynamic. Their brilliant career appearances are very different from the traditional disease viewpoint and the barrier viewpoint frame. Through the career counseling process, the results also illustrated that these two participants got insight to the awareness of themselves, the environments, and also displayed highly career action. Besides, the experience and the transformation in the counseling process of two adults with the mild intelligent disabilities were also demonstrated. At last, this research provided some suggestions for counseling practice and future research.
