身心障礙教養機構教保人員移位輔具之認知與使用之探討-以新竹縣為例

Cognitive and Use of Transfer Assistive Devices of Care Worker in the Welfare Service Institutions for the Disabled: A Case Study of Hsinchu County

摘要


目的:移位輔具可減少教保人員的肌肉骨骼傷害。藉此研究,瞭解身心障礙福利機構教保人員,對移位輔具之認知及使用情形。方法:採立意取樣,以工作於新竹縣內收容重度以上身心者之機構教保人員為研究對象。共發放64 份問卷,回收41 份,回收率64%。結果:分析顯示,教保人員對「懸吊式移位機」認知程度(88.6%)、移位輔具使用時機之認知程度(73.2%)以及「懸吊式移位機」與「移位腰帶」操作熟悉度(26.8%)等項目的認知程度較高。但在移位輔具使用頻率,以「從不使用」居多(53.7%)。結論:教保人員多以徒手進行轉移位(>83%),有過工作傷害的比例高達70.7%,在使用移位輔具最大的困擾為「需較多時間」(63.4%)。建議:機構應考量其服務對象、工作環境、流程與內容,提供適合的移位輔具、在職訓練,並建立使用規範,以延長教保人員之職場生命,進而提升照護品質。

Purposes: transfer assistive device can reduce care worker musculoskeletal injuries, whereby a study on disability welfare institutions care workers, awareness and use of transfer assistive devices shifting circumstances. Methods: purposive sampling to receiving severe or very severe disability of Hsinchu County care worker and care worker assistant for the study. Statistics were distributed 64 questionnaires, 41 questionnaires were recovered, recovery of 64%. Results: The analysis showed that care worker "patient lifts slings" awareness level (88.6%), the use of time transfer assistive devices (73.2%) and "patient lifts slings" and "transfer belt" operation familiarity (26.8%) and other assistive devices operation, mostly unfamiliar (53.7%). Conclusion: care worker mostly manual transition bit (> 83%), the proportion of work-related injuries have been as high as 70.7%, a shift in the use of assistive biggest problem is "need more time" (63.4%). Recommendation: institutions should consider their clients, working environment, process and content, to provide for transfer assistive devices, job education, and use established to extend the career staff of care worker life, and thus enhance the quality of care.
